Learn how to source
You don't need to be a recruiter.
You need to know where people are.
Sourcing means identifying people who may already be interested in professional driving opportunities.
Method 01 — Private connections
Start with people you already know.
- Friends
- Family
- Former classmates
- Colleagues
- Neighbours
- Community contacts
“Do you know a professional truck driver who is looking for work in Germany?”
Method 02 — Ask your network
Tell people what type of opportunity you are looking for. One person may know a driver. That driver may know another driver.
Method 03 — Social media
Search public communities where professional drivers participate.
- Facebook groups
- Truck-driver communities
- Transport communities
- Logistics communities
- Professional driver groups
- Country-specific communities
Potential communities may include:
- Poland
- Ukraine
- Croatia
- Bulgaria
- Moldova
- France
- Netherlands
- Belgium
- and other European communities
These countries are examples of communities to explore. Nationality does not determine eligibility.
Method 04 — Public discussions and comments
Look at public posts/comments where people openly discuss:
- Truck-driving jobs
- Driving opportunities
- Moving to Germany
- Transport work
- CE jobs
- Code 95
- International driving work
If someone publicly indicates that they are looking for an opportunity, they may be contacted respectfully. Suggested message:
“Hi, I saw that you are interested in truck-driving opportunities. We are currently connected with driving opportunities in Germany. If you're interested, I can share more information.”
